This year saw public servants from over 100 countries elevate their skills across 12 new (and almost all free for a limited time!) courses on the Government Energy and Climate Campus - from using AI ethically to tackle the climate crises, to embedding health in climate negotiations. But how can we all continue to become more knowledgable and equip ourselves with the skills needed to tackle planetary crises? Wonder what it takes to run a successful climate summit? The panel discussion — Apolitical's third event at COP30 — brought together leaders from across the world to offer insight into what you need to consider to achieve successful negotiations. The event marked the launch of Apolitical's COP Presidency Toolkit, equipping delegates with all the knowledge and skills to run a successful COP.
Thanks to Apolitical's philanthropic partners, most resources on the Government Energy and Climate Campus are now freely accessible for a limited time, including courses.
What if one of the most stubborn sources of farm pollution could disappear? Researchers have developed a plant-based mulch film that not only biodegrades harmlessly but outperforms traditional plastic mulch. The breakthrough has the potential to transform farming – boosting yields by removing pests without plastic in the soil. A win for food production and the planet.
