Austrian citizen Max Müllner makes the personal case for this in a landmark legal battle against the state, arguing that his country has failed to protect him from the adverse impacts of climate change, worsening his health.    This is not the first case of its kind in the European Court of Human Rights, coming not long after a similar case in Switzerland.
