Residents of the Hertfordshire town of Flamstead, UK, can breathe a sigh of relief this week after a Harris's hawk that had been attacking villagers and disrupting public services was humanely captured by its namesake: one Mr Steve Harris. One resident — who had been attacked by the bird — said he was "delighted" the hawk had been caught: "I won't get beaten by a poxy bird."
